「DRAGON」は、UNDULATIONシリーズの核となる“龍”のエネルギーを、凝縮されたフォルムの中に封じ込めた作品です。縦断する有機的な線は、幾層にも塗り重ね、削り、磨き上げる工程の果てに残された痕跡。時間と感情が折り重なり、層となって刻まれた記憶そのものでもあります。
上下に配された渦巻き模様は、狛犬の巻き毛を思わせる守護の象徴でもあります。その間を走る光の流線は、龍のうねりとなり、空間を貫いていきます。レイヤーの奥からみせる鈍い輝きは、見る角度によって微妙に表情を変え、平面でありながら立体のような存在感を生み出します。
そこにあるのは、内に秘めた強さです。
力とは、解き放つものではなく、抱え、制御し、静かに宿すもの。
龍は破壊の象徴ではなく、守護と再生の象徴。
今回は、わずかに青みを帯びた色彩がのぞく瞬間があり、角度を変えればほのかに赤味を感じさせる表情も現れます。さらに視点が移ろえば、その印象はまた別の気配へと変化していく。光と視線によって、幾重にも表情を変える一作となっています。

In the depths of black, a quiet undulation of light.
Its presence is certain, even without revealing its form.
“DRAGON” encapsulates the energy of the dragon—the core of the UNDULATION series—within a condensed form. The organic line that traverses the surface is the trace left at the end of a process of layering, carving, and polishing. It is a stratum of memory itself, where time and emotion have settled and intertwined.
The spiraling motifs placed above and below evoke the curled manes of guardian lion-dogs, symbols of protection. Between them runs a stream of light that becomes the dragon’s undulating presence, piercing the space. From within its layered depths emerges a subdued glow that shifts subtly depending on the viewing angle, creating a dimensional presence that transcends the flat surface.
What resides here is strength held within.
Power is not something to be unleashed, but something to be embraced, contained, and quietly sustained.
The dragon is not a symbol of destruction, but of guardianship and rebirth.
