銀嶺オブジェ / Silver Ridge Object #01

開港以来の史実を踏まえ、横浜の夜は意外に黒く、そしてその闇はとても深い。
横浜の街中のそこそこに刻まれた遠い記憶からのインスピレーション…
銀と木と金属からなるこの不思議な佇まいは、そんな横浜の夜の瞬きが宿っています。

木は無形の曲線と有機的な朽ち果て方の刹那を湛え、命を持たない金属はただひたすらに無機質な直線と間隔のみを示します。共存などを果たした事の無いこの2つの要素が銀嶺を介しそして混在した時、何かのシンボルであるかの様なシルエットが導き出されました。銀色に輝く不思議な形状のオブジェは静寂に包まれただそこに佇みます。

The Silver Ridge Object

An homage to the night of Yokohama

Since the opening of its port, Yokohama has harbored a surprisingly dark night—one cloaked in deep, impenetrable shadows. Inspired by faint, timeworn memories etched quietly throughout the city, this sculptural presence was born from that lingering twilight.

This enigmatic object—composed of silver, wood, and metal—seems to hold the silent flicker of Yokohama’s night.

The wood carries fleeting traces of organic curves and the transient beauty of decay. In contrast, the metal—cold and inanimate—expresses only sterile lines and calculated intervals. These two elements, which have never truly coexisted, are here fused through a medium of silver, forming a silhouette that feels almost symbolic.

And so, this mysterious silver form stands still—bathed in quietude, as if to watch over something unseen.
