UNDULATIONのジャンルにおける本作はビンテージ風ジェットヘルメットをキャンバスに、塗装という行為そのものを時間と感情の堆積として昇華させた一点です。重ねられた塗膜は全30レイヤー。紫 / オレンジ / 緑 / イエロー、そしてまた紫… それぞれの色層が互いに干渉し、溶け合い、時に反発しながら、偶然性と必然性の合間に複雑な表情を立ち上げています。
表層に現れる模様は明確なモチーフを持たずしてなお、観る者の内面に直接触れる心象的なイメージを多層的に発出。光の角度や距離によって色彩の重なりは表情を変え、静止したヘルメットでありながら、常に揺らぎ続ける“UNDULATION（うねり）”を感じさせます。
これは単なるカスタムペイントではありません。走るための道具に、時間・感情・記憶を封じ込めた装着できるアートピース。UNDULATIONが追求する「境界の曖昧さ」と「層が生む物語性」が、最も純度の高いかたちで具現化された作品です。

Within UNDULATION’s body of work, this piece takes a vintage-inspired jet helmet as its canvas, elevating the act of painting itself into an accumulation of time and emotion.

The surface is composed of a total of 30 layered coats.
Purple, orange, green, yellow—and purple once again.
Each layer interacts with the others, merging, clashing, and at times resisting, giving rise to a complex expression that emerges in the space between chance and intention.

The patterns that appear on the surface hold no explicit motif, yet they speak directly to the viewer’s inner sensibility, unfolding evocative imagery across multiple layers.
As the angle and distance of light shift, the overlapping colors continuously alter their expression.
Though the helmet remains physically still, it conveys a persistent sense of movement—an ever-present “UNDULATION.”

This is not merely a custom-painted helmet.
It is a wearable art piece in which time, emotion, and memory are embedded within an object designed for motion.
