龍の身体を形づくる約五千本の線は、まるで呼吸するかのように躍動し、特殊塗料が金属的な輝きを与えています。渦巻く流れが広がり、その上を龍が天へと昇るように描かれています。銀と黒が織りなす色彩は、時間の揺らぎや空間の奥行きを感じさせ、伝統と現代技術の融合を静かに物語ります。

The memory of encountering the brushwork of Katsushika Hokusai in childhood was quietly etched into the heart of Kuwai Hana, and over time it has taken form as a new artistic expression. RyuZu is a contemporary “Dragon Painting” born from that memory.
The dragon’s body, formed from approximately five thousand lines, moves as if breathing, while special paints lend it a metallic sheen. Swirling currents spread across the surface, above which the dragon appears to ascend toward the heavens. The interplay of silver and black evokes subtle shifts of time and depth of space, quietly expressing a fusion of tradition and modern technique.
Within the S40 canvas, the dragon rises in powerful undulations, gently awakening the viewer’s inner energy. It is a work that symbolizes the world of the RyuZu series, where the memory of Hokusai and contemporary sensibilities converge.
