葛飾北斎の筆致の記憶は、長い年月を経てクワイ華の造形の中で新たな姿を得ました。RyuZuは、その記憶から生まれた現代の“龍図”です。
龍の身体を形づくる無数の線は、呼吸するかのように重なり合い、特殊塗料が金属的な輝きを与えています。本作ではシルバーの塗料が青みを帯びて見え、光の加減によって静かな奥行きと透明感を生み出し、爽やかな印象があります。
龍は静かにうねり、観る者の視線を引き込みながら内なる力をそっと呼び覚まします。

The memory of the brushwork of Katsushika Hokusai has, over many years, taken on a new form within the artistic expression of Kuwai Hana. RyuZu is a contemporary “Dragon Painting” born from that memory.
Countless lines forming the dragon’s body overlap as if breathing, while special paints give the surface a metallic sheen. In this work, the silver paint appears slightly bluish, and depending on the light it creates a quiet sense of depth and transparency, lending the piece a refreshing impression.
The dragon moves in a gentle undulation, drawing the viewer’s gaze inward while softly awakening the energy within.
