「DRAGON」は、UNDULATIONシリーズの核となる“龍”のエネルギーを、凝縮されたフォルムの中に封じ込めた作品です。幾層にも塗り重ね、削り、磨き上げる工程の果てに残された線。時間と感情が折り重なり、層となって刻まれた記憶そのものでもあります。
上下に配された渦巻き模様は、狛犬の巻き毛を思わせる守護の象徴。その間を走る光の流線は、龍のうねりとなり、空間を貫いていきます。
光と視線によって、幾重にも表情を変える一作となっています。

In the depths of black, a quiet undulation of light.
Its presence is certain, even without revealing its form.
“DRAGON” is a work that encapsulates the energy of the dragon—the central force of the UNDULATION series—within a condensed form. The lines that remain are the result of a process of layering, carving, and polishing the surface repeatedly. They hold traces of time and emotion, like memories engraved in layered strata.
The spiral motifs placed above and below evoke the curled manes of Komainu, symbols of protection. Between them runs a flowing line of light that becomes the undulation of a dragon, cutting through the space.
Through the shifting interplay of light and the viewer’s gaze, the work reveals multiple expressions, unfolding in layers over time.
