2025年11月27日から12月7日にかけて、国立新美術館にて開催された「第16回 躍動する現代作家展」は、国内外から約350名のアーティストが集う国際的な公募展です。
本展は、「アートは時代の鏡である」という視点のもと、絵画、彫刻、写真、デザイン、空間表現、CGやアニメーションに至るまで、ジャンルを横断した作品が一堂に会します。異なる表現が隣り合いながら共存するその光景は、複雑に混在する現代社会そのものを映し出すかのような構成となっています。
北海道から沖縄まで日本全国、さらに韓国・中国・アメリカなど海外からも多くのアーティストが参加し、年齢やキャリアを越えた幅広い表現が集積。これまでに延べ1,500名以上の現代作家が本展を通じて紹介されてきました。
クワイ華は本展において「MANDALA」シリーズより「MANDALA – 24K Full Gold / F50号」を出展し、優秀賞を受賞。そのほか、3点の作品も出展いたしました。
本展は、現代に生きる作家たちの“躍動”を体感する場であると同時に、これからの表現の可能性を示唆する場でもあります。

Held from November 27 to December 7, 2025, at The National Art Center, Tokyo, the 16th Dynamic Contemporary Artists Exhibition is an international open-call exhibition bringing together approximately 350 artists from Japan and abroad.
Based on the idea that “art is a mirror of its time,” the exhibition presents a wide spectrum of expressions across disciplines, including painting, sculpture, photography, design, spatial art, as well as CG and animation. The coexistence of diverse forms of expression—displayed side by side—creates a landscape that reflects the complexity and hybridity of contemporary society.
Artists from across Japan, from Hokkaido to Okinawa, as well as from countries such as Korea, China, and the United States, participate in the exhibition. Spanning generations and career stages, the show has introduced more than 1,500 contemporary artists to date.
At this exhibition, Kuwai Hana presented “MANDALA – 24K Full Gold / F50” from the MANDALA series, receiving the Excellence Award. In addition, three further works were also presented.
The exhibition serves not only as a platform to experience the dynamic energy of contemporary artists, but also as a space that quietly suggests new possibilities for artistic expression.
