Fender : 2023年製 American Vintage II 1961 StratocasterにUNDULATIONを施しました。ボディー全面に圧倒的且つ実に複雑なUNDULATIONの紋様を配し、またオリジナルで製作をした錫製のボディーチップも散りばめさせて頂きました。そしてこちらのストラトキャスターは国内大物ミュージシャン様にご納品をさせて頂きました逸品でもあります。実演奏を考慮し、今回はネック部分へのUNDULATION施工は致しておりません。施工後の音質にもネガティブな影響は及ぼしてはおらず、むしろ中音域の厚みとサスティーンが増した印象です。UNDULATIONの紋様とスラブローズ指板との相性は抜群であり、センセーショナルなインパクトと共に貴重な一本を世に輩出させて頂く事が出来ました。

This 2023 Fender American Vintage II 1961 Stratocaster has been meticulously transformed with a full-body UNDULATION finish. The surface showcases a stunningly complex and powerful pattern, flowing across the entire body, complemented by custom-made pewter body chips individually embedded by hand.

This particular Stratocaster was delivered to a renowned Japanese musician, making it a truly special, one-of-a-kind instrument. In consideration of actual performance use, the neck was intentionally left untreated, preserving optimal playability.

Importantly, the application of UNDULATION has had no negative effect on sound quality. On the contrary, it appears to have enhanced the instrument’s tonal depth—particularly in the midrange—and improved sustain. The synergy between the intricate UNDULATION patterns and the slab rosewood fingerboard is exceptional, resulting in a visually and sonically striking guitar.
