Arriving at a unique form of alchemy through 25 years of working with metal as part of daily practice, the artist creates forms using specially refined metals born from this metallurgical experience.
Though made from the hard material of metal, the work carries a sense of life, evoking a mysterious landscape—much like setting foot upon the surface of an unknown planet.
Embedded within the silver plate are small spheres that hold the light. As the viewing angle and light subtly shift, they emit delicate glimmers, reminiscent of distant stars quietly shimmering in the night sky.
Through the interplay of silver light and shadow, the work invites the viewer into a tranquil cosmic landscape, bringing a clear resonance and a sense of expanding imagination to the surrounding space.
