幾層にも重ねられた塗料がうねりを描き、キャンバスには、神社の狛犬から着想を得たとされている、渦巻き模様が3つ浮かび上がります。それぞれ、中心へ向かう力と外へ広がる気配があります。特殊塗料を吹き付け、熱を加える工程を重ねることで生まれた隆起は、光を受けるたびに表情を変えます。シルバーのメタリックな輝きは、角度によっては鋭く光ったり穏やかに光を反射し、三つの渦に異なるリズムがある一作です。

Layers of paint rise and undulate across the canvas, from which three swirling motifs emerge—said to be inspired by the spiral patterns of guardian lion-dogs at Shinto shrines. Each vortex carries both a force drawing inward toward its center and a presence expanding outward.
Created through repeated processes of spraying specially formulated paint and applying heat, the resulting ridges transform in expression each time they catch the light. The metallic silver gleam can appear sharply radiant from one angle, and softly reflective from another, giving each of the three spirals its own distinct rhythm within the work.
