DRAGON is a work born from Kuwai Hana’s mysterious childhood memories and spiritual experiences. Flowing layers of color overlap to depict the dragon as a being imbued with compassion and vitality. The silver area in the upper left carries a symbolic quality reminiscent of a flag, a unique expression within this series. The spiral symbols placed at the top and bottom represent komainu, traditional guardian figures, signifying their enduring role as protectors.
The smooth, three-dimensional texture unique to the FRP material accentuates color and shadow with every shift of light, revealing new expressions from different angles. At F50 size, the work commands a strong presence, bringing dignity and serenity to entrances, lounges, or spacious living areas.
