幾層にも重ねられた特殊塗料がうねりを描き、キャンバスには二つの渦巻き模様が浮かび上がります。神社の狛犬の巻き毛から着想を得たその形、対角線上に配置されているのは、まるで天の川のよう。それぞれの渦は、中心へと引き込む力と、外へと広がる気配を同時に宿し、静かな緊張感を生み出しています。特殊塗料を吹き付け、熱を加えて定着させた隆起は、光を受けるたびに表情を変え、シルバーのメタリックな輝きが鋭く、あるいは穏やかに反射します。
二つのうねりが遠く響き合いながら、空間にゆるやかなリズムをもたらす一作です。

Layers of specially formulated paint sweep across the canvas in undulating motion, from which two spiral motifs emerge. Inspired by the curled manes of guardian lion-dogs at Shinto shrines, their diagonal placement evokes the image of the Milky Way stretching across the sky.
Each vortex embodies both a force that draws inward toward its center and a presence that expands outward, creating a quiet sense of tension. Formed through repeated applications of sprayed paint and heat-fixing, the raised surfaces shift in expression whenever they catch the light. The metallic silver gleam reflects sharply at times, and softly at others.
Resonating with one another across the distance, the two undulations bring a gentle rhythm into the space they inhabit.
