「MANDALA」は、神社の狛犬に刻まれた渦巻き模様から着想を得た作品です。
右下に見える渦巻き模様は、守護や生命の流れを象徴するかたちとして、作品の中に静かな動きを起こしています。
幾層にも重ねられた特殊塗料による表情は、光の角度や加減で変化し、平面でありながら奥行きと立体感を感じさせます。
空間に置かれたとき、主張しすぎることなく、静かに場を整える存在となります。

“MANDALA” is a work inspired by the spiral motifs carved into guardian lion-dogs found at Shinto shrines.
The spiral visible in the lower right symbolizes protection and the flow of life, introducing a quiet sense of movement within the composition.
Layers of specially applied paint create a surface that changes with the angle and intensity of light, giving the work depth and a subtle three-dimensional presence despite its flat plane.
When placed in a space, the work does not assert itself strongly, but instead quietly brings balance and harmony to its surroundings.
