「DRAGON」は、UNDULATIONシリーズの核となる“龍”のエネルギーを、凝縮されたフォルムの中にとどめた作品です。幾層にも塗り重ね、削り、磨き上げる工程の中で現れた有機的な線は、時間と感情が積み重なった痕跡でもあります。
上下に配された渦は、狛犬の巻き毛を思わせる守護の象徴。その間を走る光の流線は、慈愛を湛えた龍のうねりとなってキャンバスを巡ります。
金属的なマテリアルの鈍い輝きは、光や角度によって静かに表情を変え、平面でありながら立体のような存在感を生み出します。
そこにあるのは、荒々しさではなく、内に宿る静かな力です。

“DRAGON” is a work that holds the energy of the dragon—the central force of the UNDULATION series—within a condensed form. The organic lines that emerge through the process of layering, carving, and polishing the surface are traces of time and emotion, like strata of memory built up over time.
The spirals placed above and below evoke the curled manes of Komainu, symbols of protection. Between them, a flowing line of light moves across the canvas like the gentle undulation of a dragon filled with compassion.
The muted glow of the metallic material subtly changes with light and viewing angle, creating a presence that feels almost sculptural despite the flat surface.
What resides here is not raw force, but a quiet strength held within.
